Project using Tumbled Basalt Block Paving - UK

|
Tumbled basalt block paving is laid in the same way as traditional brick block paving but with a dramatically different look. These natural stone cobbles have a flat surface, so that the driveway is easy to walk on : even the small wheels of a pushchair will ride smoothly across their surface. Block paving requires a perimeter edge to retain the sand that it is laid in and capture the cobblestones themselves.
There is no pointing required with obvious cost savings in labour and materials. The driveway is tumbled basalt with broad basalt edging. |
