Fossil Mint Sandstone Riven Paving Slabs

|
The Fossil Mint sandstone paving is unusual and highly variable in colour. If there is a colour that appears in this fossil sandstone more often than others, it is the pale mint green. However : yellows, browns, reds and even purples are evident in this sandstone paving. The black fern-like fossils visible in the fossil mint sandstone paving are not real fossils, but frost-like mineral deposits, exposed when the stone is split.
The variability from slab to slab and the intricate patterns in the fossil mint stone will always grab attention. It's light colours are bright and illuminate the scene. The darker areas on some of the fossil stone slabs provide a contrast that emphasizes this lightening. Fossil Mint Sandstone has long been a favourite but now, some sandstone newcomers such as coral sandstone, fossil coral sandstone and the yellow mint sandstone are available that offer a variation on some of the features of this fossil sandstone.
