Low Moor Sandstone Riven Paving Slabs

|
Low Moor is a riven, flame textured sandstone. It displays subtle pale to dark reds with occasional swirls and other details. Areas of the stone show a clear but understated variation from flagstone to flagstone. The overall effect is rich and understated. More tactile than ordinary sandstone, Low Moor is smoother to the touch than other sandstones and the riven detail slightly more rounded.
Against foliage and red brick, low moor’s reddish browns look to be more brown than red. Slightly reminiscent of reclaimed sandstone from Burgundy in France, this stone looks fabulous in bright sun or in the shade. Edging in black, grey, and mixed brown cobbles have all been used with great visual impact with Low Moor.
